From the almost urban (Eucalyptus) forests of coastal Galicia...
To the stylish and always surprising urban jungle of Buenos Aires...
Eucalyptologics arrived to the WFC2009!
Where we hope to report at least some funny stuff...
As, for instance, how we spent the day trying to recover all the cartographic gifts from the Customs Depot at Ezeiza to no avail... but at least we found them in good state of health stored in the high beams!
And as, for instance, how we nearly learned to drive taxis in Buenos Aires, how we arranged for an Argentenian to recover key informations about the ancestral lands of one of his grandparents in the old Galicia we came from...
Or, as, for instance, we managed to get ourselves past a noisy demonstration of anti-monoculture ”wisdom” unscathed while entering the Congress Venue!
Meanwhile...
Just stay tuned and we will try to feed you with some forestry gossip, latest news and the nice declaration of intentions just done to welcome all visitors and launch this major international event, with all its activities and extra entertainment! You can meanwhile check Pedro Lobo´s chronicle of the Openin Ceremony at Primicias Rurales, a nice Argentinean online media!
