Yet another example of vegetative regeneration in Eucalyptus, in this case depicting a strange simultaneous combination of one of the Ash Eucalyptus, the Messmate Stringybark (Monocalyptus, Obliquae), and Tasmanian Blue Gum (Symphyomyrtus, Maidenaria) both coppicing in immediately adjacent stumps. Early summer harvest combined with good light availability and fully formed root systems favoured a quick sprouting of new shoots in both species. Colour contrast is noticeable, as also is juvenile leaf shape.
